🌕 The Divine Tale of Brihaspati, Tara & Budha
A complex mythological narrative unfolds involving the relationship between DevGuru Brihaspati, his wife Tara, and their son Lord Budha (Mercury). In certain versions of the myth, Tara was abducted by the Moon god Chandra. In a fit of divine anger, Brihaspati cursed Tara, and from this dramatic turn of events, Budha was born.
The story encapsulates themes of love, betrayal, divine power, and transformation, commonly seen throughout Hindu mythology. Lord Budha, though born of conflict, went on to become a planetary deity associated with clarity of thought, commerce, and eloquence.
DevGuru Brihaspati, known as the spiritual teacher of the Devas, remains a symbol of divine wisdom and sacred knowledge. His presence in one’s horoscope (through Jupiter's placement) is considered a harbinger of spiritual growth, prosperity, and dharma.
This myth not only reveals a divine drama among the celestial beings but also serves as a metaphor for navigating life's challenges and seeking wisdom even in the midst of turmoil.
